Multi-instrumentalist. Session musician. Teacher. Live performer. Songwriter. Composer. Arranger.
Reagan Tipton is a Nashville based, experienced vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from right outside of Atlanta, Georgia. At a young age, Reagan found music from the keys of her mother’s old piano growing dust in her home. The only musician in her family, she taught herself to play piano by ear and developed her musicianship early on. Through family changes and times of confusion, song became a necessity, a breath of air into her lungs. It was her escape and her joy and her peace. When she began to sing in her elementary school choir, she learned to appreciate the gift of community and making music in collaboration. This is still her favorite thing about music today.
Reagan’s sound can best be described as warm, smoky and nuanced, while utilizing her timbre flexibility and impressive agility. She best suits the silky R&B tunes she grew up on, as well as the jazz melodies that twirl around in her brain. Though grounded and centered, her energy is high and inviting, offering a sense of comfort to her listeners. Performing with artists like Trisha Yearwood, Cody Fry and Amy Grant, and harnessing tens of thousands of views over music social media content, Reagan is making her way into the industry. Esi Okai-Tetteh, former lead singer of Grace Bowers and the Hodge Podge, said that, “She has the vocal agility of an acrobat,” and that, “What really piques [her] ears is [Reagan’s] ability to flip through her registers as if she was flipping through a Rolodex: so easy, so controlled, so balanced.” World-renowned conductor and composer, Dr. Jeffery Ames, said that after working with Reagan for years, she is, “…an amazing musician,” and that he is, “….so grateful for Reagan.”
Reagan graduated from Belmont University in May of 2025 with a major in Commercial Voice and a minor in Music Business. During her time there, she was a member of the elite 14-member vocal jazz group, Jazzmin, as well as the University’s premier flagship choral ensemble, Chorale. She is a lover of all things BGV and intricate harmony. She also has a deep passion for teaching, and loves guiding new and experienced musicians in finding their musical spark. In addition, Reagan is a songwriter, composer and arranger and recently debuted her first Off-Broadway compositional work in how to host a sleepover in 10 easy steps, directed by Mattie Tindall. She has plans to release her debut single in 2026 and to continue playing shows in and around Nashville. For business inquiries, she can be reached at reagantiptonmusic@gmail.com. A passionate musician, who’s music radiates as much love as her heart, Reagan Tipton has a tender sound who wants her music to gift joy to others, the same way it did to her when she was young.
